Student Food Pantry Fund-New Brunswick

Being food insecure means having limited or uncertain access to a sufficient quantity of food. Started in fall 2016, the Rutgers Student Food Pantry is one of the more than 20 food pantries in New Brunswick. It exclusively serves Rutgers students and is on the College Avenue campus. The pantry is stocked by donations from Rutgers Against Hunger, Replenish, and private donations.

Donations are applied to...

Donations to food security will ensure that all students have access to food at both the food pantry on the College Avenue campus and the Mobile Food Pantry that visits the Busch, Livingston, and Douglass campuses.

Why are donations necessary?

Food insecurity among college students has been a growing problem in the United States, even before the pandemic. Students who do not have consistent, adequate food are not able to reach their full potential.
