Rutgers Global Health Institute needs your support to help students and faculty confront health disparities, locally and worldwide. The first $500 will be matched by Director Richard Marlink, M.D.
Your gift will help meet emerging needs in global health education, research, and service. This support can create opportunities for students to participate in the institute’s work, provide seed funding for faculty to pursue new avenues of problem solving, and expand the reach of our on-the-ground efforts. We are working to provide life-saving surgery and cancer care in developing countries; build resiliency in communities impacted by disasters; combat infectious disease epidemics; help New Jersey’s underserved populations access the health care they need; and confront climate change and its impact on human health.
Rutgers Global Health Institute is building connections between faculty, students, alumni, partners, and communities to achieve a healthier world. We are committed to making an impact that can be measured in terms of lives saved, diseases prevented, and communities made stronger. Through education, we are preparing the next generation of global health leaders. Through research, we are pursuing diverse perspectives and adding new dimensions to problem solving. Through service, we are applying these insights to improve health in communities that need our help. Your support will help create new opportunities for learning, expand innovative research, and deliver transformative solutions.
